| So I thought I'd start a new thread for this as I think it's important to get an idea of how many people would be interested in this. I think it's a great opportunity for us to take advantage of: a big tournament to train towards, a chance to represent your country, a tournament with a swimming pool. These details are copied from Linda's post: EIGHT NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP For National Teams (or Club Teams interested in playing for their country!) Sant Mart? de Campmajor (Girona, Spain) *July 25th and 26th 8 Open National Teams 8 Women National Teams www.discterics.com/8nations2009Tournament Formula: * Free shuttle from Girona's Ryanair Airport to the fields on friday night and sunday evening. * 2 fields, natural grass. * Comfortable beds accomodation right beside of the fields in the Colony House called "El Collell" (http://www.elcollell.net/) * Swimming Pool (Think of July in Spain ;-) ) * Private Parties on Friday and Saturday without moving. * Friday's evening dinner, Saturday's breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sunday breakfast and lunch, all included in the Player Fee. * Possibility to ride horses or organise other activities on Saturday or Sunday evening.Player Fee: 90?, all included! Team Fee: 150? THE REGISTRATION KEEPS OPEN (Until we reach 8 teams for each division). For the moment we have: Women's Division: SPAIN, CONFIRMED IRELAND, CONFIRMED BELGIUM, CONFIRMED FRANCE, CONFIRMED NETHERLANDS, CONFIRMED ITALY, RESERVED SPOT It's important to note that these are teams that we have played and beaten before (and been beaten by of course) so this could be an interesting tournament to go to with a lot of the newer players in the country to build experience for those players. Not sure what the deal is with eligibility etc but let's assume for now that everyone and anyone can play. WHO WANTS IT?????? I'm in. | |

| Is this just for people on the national team?
If its open to others, Id be interested...if not thats fine.
Oh and for those going: I would keep a close eye on Ryanair flights to Barcelona(girona) as I booked a weekend there in May for 54euro return the other day (which apart from the extortion that is 30euro for a check in bag, this is a complete bargain)....it has gone up since but if you watch out for sales you could get lucky. | |

| return flights with ryanair from dublin fri eve-sun night are currently 71.29euro..just saying!! oh and laura they have a farm!! with animals and stuff  | |

| This is NOT for the national team, it is open to every female player in Ireland. The more going the better I think, if we have waaaaaaay to many interested we can work something out with trials or based on participation in womens ultimate. This is not likely to happen though so if you interested in this tourney say so now- experience is not an issue, all levels welcome and encouraged!!! This will be a fantastic learning opportunity so grab it by the balls  | |

| I am refusing to even read over the tournament description because there is no way I can go. I think I will be in Florida at that stage all things going to plan.
