PostSubject: Women's tournaments   Women's tournaments EmptyFri Jan 16, 2009 6:20 am

Anyone ever heard about this tournament?

I always star any eurodisc emails that I get about women's tournaments, and then never come back to them... But just realised that this forum also has a calender, so from now on will stick them down on the calender in case any of us are looking for tournaments to go to.

Hello everyone,

Starting from now until February 28th you can register for the DiscDays
Cologne on June 6th and 7th. As always the number of teams is limited to 10
teams in the women and to 20 teams in the open division. Registrations of
foreign teams are very appreciated.

To register, please send the name of your team, the division (women/open),
the contact person and your e-mail-address to bernd@fruehsport02.de. In
early March we will confirm the spots. Afterwards you can transfer the
registration fee of 100 Euro.

This year the DiscDays will be joined by the German Freestyle Championship.
Furthermore we are planning a Distance competition for appr. 20
participants. We will provide laser measurement, the players will provide
their discs.

All competitions will take place on the Jahnwiesen. This is 5 minutes by
foot from our club area, where you can put up your tents and where catering
is provided. Also moderated games and the finals will take place here.
Friday evening there will be a Welcome-Party, Saturday evening we are
planning a dinner.

Best regards,

Your DiscDays Staff

Eh....or not....

Can't figure out how to edit the calender. Maybe you have to be an administrator.

Well for now we can just post here about tournaments we hear of.

Check this out. It may not really be the sort of thing we're looking for this year (or is it?)...but definitely one to keep in mind for the future.

Dear friends!

The registration for the EIGHT NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP, the Outdoor Open and Women tournament just for National
Teams, is already open.

This event is a good chance for the National Teams to keep developing their projects on 2009, in which no official events for national teams take place, but aswell on the following years, to prepare them: it's planned for every July from now on, so it will be perfect to
compete afterwards on international official events usually held at the end of July or at the beginning of August.

>From Disct?rics, the organizers of the Lloret Costa Brava (Beach Co-Ed fun tournament):

EIGHT NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP
Girona (Spain), July 18th and 19th
8 Open National Teams
8 Women National Teams
Ryanair Girona Airport at 10 minutes of the fields.

Registration deadline: Friday, February 27th.
Please, send an e-mail to brotheriglio@yahoo.es before that date to confirm your reservation.
Preference for those countries inscribed for both divisions.

More information will be given soon, we still have to define the fees depending on the accomodation.
By the moment, don't wait too much to save your spot!

Hey,

I just got an email on my Belgian team's list about the 8 Nations Championships. Two important things:

-It seems as if Ireland are IN!!
-Dates are changed to 25/26 July

Check out the other teams in the division too! And there is soooo much food included mmmm....
